I directed, animated, storyboarded, edited, and composited a series of 15 YouTube shorts for the Official SpongeBob YouTube channel in which the character DoodleBob inserts himself into classic SpongeBob scenes as well as original stories. In addition to those responsibilities I was able to work with Nickelodeon’s creative team in writing the final outlines for each episode to make sure the jokes landed within the strict 1 minute time limit imposed by YouTube shorts. It was a creative challenge making the most of the 9:16 aspect ratio, but I’m really happy with the result!
